Hi Guys, You should all now that next Tuesday at the Troop Meeting at 7:30pm SHARP PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME we need all personal gear backpacks all set with your personal gear inside. IT IS VITAL THAT YOU DO NOT OVERPACK!!!! Because....... 1. You are going to carry all you personal gear for over 4 miles. 2. Also you are going to need space to carry all the NECESSARY Troop Gear with your personal items (sleeping bag sleeping pad, clothing, ect) . We will separate all the troop gear in different backpacks. So it will be evenly distrubuted to everyone. For a note we will be sleeping in adorondaks so please bring a sleeping pad!! If you don't have a backpack or other camping options there is an option for that You can go to REI in Reading Ma. Please Get a real camping back pack not a school back pack it will not work Please plan for the weather. Also it is great to have wool socks they are a great item to have! This site has great information about back packing in general! I Will Plan To See You There This Tuesday at 7:30pm PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME!! WITH YOUR BACK PACK FULLY PACKED!!!!!! And Ready To GO!
